House immigration reform effort has conservatives on edge

Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, a MAN OF THE PEOPLE has published an editorial in USA Today that criticizes President Obama using pressure on the Republican Establishment (not the People’s Tea Party} to pass an immigration reform plan that will hurt American workers while claiming to be apprehensive about their dilemma. He called upon Republicans to set aside the demands of business groups and all special interest factions and “stand alone as the one party defending the legitimate interests of American workers” in the immigration framework.

The following is a selection from his article:

“In Tuesday’s State of the Union address, President Obama is expected to discuss the plight of American workers. At the same time, he is pushing Republicans to pass an immigration plan making the problem worse by increasing the flow of immigrant workers to compete against unemployed Americans and those struggling to get by in low-wage jobs. Yet, alarmingly, the move is regarded as a part of Obama’s agenda that has a chance of becoming law.
“House Republicans should reply to the president’s immigration effort with a simple message: Our first duty is to help Americans struggling in finding good work and rising wages.
“So what is the president’s proposal? With three job seekers for every open job, he proposes doubling the number of guest workers entering every year, granting immediate work permits to millions of illegal immigrants, and tripling the number of new immigrants granted permanent residency over the next decade.
“Did anyone ask the American people whether they wanted to triple immigration? Polling shows that the public opposes these increases. The opposition is particularly strong among lower- and middle-income Americans. Those earning under $30,000 prefer a reduction to an increase by 3-1.
“Republicans have the opportunity to give voice to the working and middle-class Americans whose wages and job prospects have eroded drastically in recent years. House GOP leaders are reportedly planning to release their “immigration principles” this week. Unfortunately, leaks reveal the leaders’ plan mirrors central elements of the president’s plan, combining work permits for millions of illegal immigrants with large permanent increases in the flow of new workers from abroad. This would be an extraordinary act of self-sabotage.
“The choice is clear. Either the GOP can help the White House deliver a crushing hammer blow to the middle class — or it can stand alone as the one party defending the legitimate interests of American workers?” Our only chance of forcing the United States Congress to follow the people’s will is the hammering voice of the people. The Tea Party has grown in mega-membership of Americans from every Race, religion and political Left/Right, rich, poor relationship. We have been lied to, by egotistical and delusional bunch of blinkered people and have unceasingly ignored us, from the commencement of 1986 amnesty. The priority is to protect this nation, but both parties are equally to blame for NOT sealing the border; building the real double layer fence. They say it’s not possible? Israel stopped terrorists by installing their border fence. IT CAN BE DONE; IT SHOULD BE DONE? Numbersusa, a grassroots organization, sees the danger of overpopulation and the socialist factions ignore it. California the epicenter of the illegal alien invasion are about to suffer water shortages. Fax for FREE Congress – Tell them to secure the borders first! petitions.conservativeactionalerts.com. . Use your voice and crash the switchboard in Washington at (202) 224-3121. Enough is enough. Obama has defied and defiled the Constitution, bypassed Congress, gone against the laws of this country and the will of the people. The only true Conservatives who will enforce immigration are the “Break-away” Peoples TEA PARTY dot org. President Barack Obama is pushing for amnesty even though the (CBO) Congressional Budget Office has determined it will devastate the wages of working class Americans.

“Broken Immigration System”. We set fair quotas by country for a reasonable number of immigrants each year. We have special admission for those with special needed skills, those who are persecuted in their own land, or who can bring needed investments. We ask that all who want to become American citizens become American citizens, and pass a test and proudly get sworn into the country.

What “broken” means to Democrats is cementing enough votes for their candidates that they can control the country for a generation, or until those who snuck into the country discover the folks they were paid to elect are no good at running a country.

So let’s start calling what the Democrats want as “Campaign Boost” and stop lying and calling it anything to do with “immigration”.

How about “White House Reform”?

The immigration reform mantra, repeated by the public relations/lobbying firms, over and over:

THE PITCH FOR FRIDAYS (“We need unskilled workers”):
America doesn’t have enough UNSKILLED workers to harvest our tomatoes, tend to our dairies, and man our beef and poultry packing houses. Therefore we (America) must import LOW-SKILLED workers from Mexico, Latin America, etc., as immigrants.

THE PITCH FOR MONDAYS (“We need high-skilled workers.”):
America doesn’t have enough HIGH-SKILLED workers to satisfy our need for engineers, scientists and technology workers. Therefor we (America) must import HIGH-SKILLED H1B VISA workers from India, China, Philippines, Brazil and Indonesia.

The truth, of course, is that America has great unemployment, and there are many millions of unemployed unskilled workers and unemployed STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) workers.

If there were indeed a shortage of either unskilled Americans or skilled Americans, you would see wages rising substantially and naturally in those industries where the workers are needed.

In fact, wage rates in America for both unskilled agricultural workers and highly skilled engineers have been going down, down, down. Why?

Because of the unprecedented campaign by big business to flood the labor markets, for both skilled and unskilled workers, with a gigantic tidal wave of foreign immigrants.

Immigration is quickly destroying the American middle class while the wealthy class grows ever richer by reducing its cost of labor. This destruction of the American middle class by cell phone-assisted and internet-assisted immigration is the most significant economic catastrophe to occur in the last two hundred years, and we are witnessing it.

NO AMNESTY and no legalization or pathway to US citizenship for any illegal aliens living in the United States. We need our immigration laws enforced and all illegal aliens should be deported. The best method would be to pass a mandatory E-Verify law that is retro-active and require that employers fire the millions of illegal aliens currently employed. With no jobs and no source of income, the illegal aliens will return home.

The American people are sick of 17 million Hispanics taking their jobs, good paying jobs while they sit at home on welfare or unemployment not to mention the youth living with mom and Dad (Well with mom Dad left). lying about what “the American people want” will not ring true in this election Obama has awoken the sleeping giant and he’s mad. Watch for what happens to the gang of 8 in the primary’s to see what letting 17 million illegals take over this country will do to your political career.

Hasn’t this Immigration Reform canard been tried before?

This Immigration ‘Reform’ is a repeat of the Immigration Reform we had in 1986 that legalized 2.7 former illegal aliens and is now, 27 years later, resulting in the discussion of so called ‘reform’ of 11 million illegal aliens?
Extrapolate to the 2040 Reform bill, 27 years from now when we will be discussing the ‘reform’ of 44 million illegal aliens.

Is our fear of losing social status (by being accused of ‘nativism’) creating an inability to do basic math?

Also Remember the motto of Mecha, the Mexican student lobby is “Por
La Raza todo, Fuera de La Raza nada”, which is often translated as “For the Race, everything, outside the Race, nothing”.

That does not sound like they have our best interests at heart.
