Iraq’s Maliki rejected the SOFA deal which would have left US troops in Iraq; now, the Jihadists are taking advantage of that decision.

President Karzai, in Afghanistan, might want to take a look at the situation in Iraq and then sign the BSA deal… Jihadists are waiting in the wings and they will certainly try to regain control of the backward hell-hole known as “Afghanistan”.

I want to congratulate Bush Jr on his Mission Accomplished. Soon Iraq will not be run by Saddam, but Al Qaeda. Well done!

We were never in any form of meaningful occupation or control of Baghdad beginning with the seizure of then Saddam International Airport. Saddam’s war plan was as simple as it was insightful. Make the necessary weapons available for insurgent warfare…take advantage of the Coalition battle plan to bypass all the major cities in favor of seizing Baghdad…release the unconventional and special Iraqi warfare forces to begin insurgency operations to include pitting the Sunni against the Sh’ia. Parallel to this was his near complete disassembly of the country’s infra-structure, particularly in Baghdad, a key component to creating the proper environment for the support of insurgent groups by the civilian population. Having spent “street time” in Baghdad in 2003 and 2004 I have only great sympathy and empathy for the now near totally traumatized civilian population of this once great city. We gave them nothing and we took anything they did have – even under Saddam – away from them to include their lives on a daily basis.

Actually, sending 4,000 U.S. men and women to die for no real purpose (other than to secure 140 billion dollars in Halliburton contracts)…. is the real dumping. And you geniuses voted for that pair of deuces…. twice. You killed Americans for profit, and you’re a traitor.

So I have to assume that the “blame Bush endlessly” crowd(even though it’s 6 years later) would prefer Sadam killing another 100,000 Kurds and controlling the west coast of the Persion Gulf through his ‘annexation’ of Kuwait? Alkaline State…I agree…but, you left out some of the other culprits…as I see it, Defense, Israel & Energy, (DIE), call the shots in the ME…their selfish special interests overlap in that region, like a 3-circle Venne diagram.

Most anti-war Americans will identify and criticize the Defense and Energy lobbies for their war-mongering activities….but very few dare to include the brains of the terrible trio, Israel, in their criticisms. The fear of being labelled, as an “anti-Semite”, is just too strong here.

Seriously, I am now banned on the Jerusalem Post, ABC News and New York Daily News, because I have questioned the conventional wisdom regarding the “special relationship”….Helen Thomas understated the problem…I’m grateful that Reuters still lets me post here…thank you!

the 6 who died broke the law. and are not here for responsiblilty. so was what they died for in a request for the betterment of all? so ask Allah what it was they wanted. let the answer be revealed to heal the scarfice of the death or ask thier friends and if it is worthy make thier request known to all vocally. if its for the betterment make it into a bill then vote if it requires a law to change. democracy.

They’re not capable of thinking that deeply about the issue. The only deaths they care about, are those they can blame (rightly or otherwise) on Bush.
