“… I will apply the law and the constitution with absolute severity against coupsters, destabilizers and violent sectors, whoever they are.” Says Maduro. Does this include those in office who tried (with guns!)to violently overthrow the last democratically elected government there? Does Maduro want to prevent anyone accused of plotting to overthrow a democratically elected Venezuelan government from running for office include his and the Assembly president’s resignation? What an idiot.

So…. what’s happening in my heart today?
I am expressing my feelings for what’s going on in my home country, VENEZUELA.
Venezuelans, especially the university students are protesting against this ‘covered dictatorship’ unwanted government being imposed little by little. There is no food, medicines, automobile repair parts, but most of all THERE IS NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH, NO FAIR JUSTICE, NO DEMOCRACY!!!
My heart feels the pain and I cry for my home country!
If we do not stop this crazy absolutist goverment now, Venezuela will go dormant just like another Cuba under a dictator!
PLEASE PRAY FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE AND FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY FOR VENEZUELA!!
God Bless y’all!

We all have the rights to protest and say what we think, Maduro can say whatever he wants but there are proofs that he sent polices and others to attack if you want you can follow @rctv_contigo, @venezuelalucha on Instagram you can see some videos that explain everything… We don’t want to be like Cuba… We are a rich country with enough resources to support and improve the most beautiful country…we just need to change the government… At least a Venezuelan person should be the president… Maduro is nor even Venezuelan…

I can’t believe that, among the hundreds of pictures available, you should choose the one where the protester appears as if he was doing the nazi gesture, which he is not. You should know better that to try to underpin Maduro’s preposterous accusation that there is a “new nazi-fascist current” in the venezuelan opposition. Shame on you.

To understand what is happening in Venezuela, it is necessary to look at the series of unpopular measure he has taken. Also, remember what was that triggered this protest; the rampant violence, more than 20000 people killed by crime last year. Also, it would help to look at the abundant video, and pictures taken during the days of the 10th and 11th of February, in Táchira and Merida. In these videos, you will see paramilitary/thugs running in motorcycles, chasing away protester, firing guns, and vandalizing neighborhoods with the complicity of the police, and local authorities. A tight media control by the government, did not allow this story to be told, local radios were playing music 24/7, nonetheless, the videos in you tube reached record view numbers in hours. One can not underestimate the effect this images had in encouraging people’s participation in the march on the 12th, ironically, those who were protesting against this thugs/collectives/paramilitary force, found them at the end of the march on the 12th, again firing guns. If you have problems finding this material, please, feel free to contact me.

Please sign and share this if people have the time.

I thought to myself “What difference could my single voice make?”
And then realised that if everyone thought like that, nothing would get done. We need to work together to make things happen.

Something needs to be done to help Venezuela.
I’m doing this because it is the right thing to do.

Thank-You.

Of course the people are upset and want change. The economy has gone in the toilet since Maduro has been in office, and for only a very short period of time. The bus driver president is incompetent. He needs to get the out of the presidential office, and step back on the bus. Free Venezuela!
