Village idiots in Borneo could have predicted this. Why doesn’t our government know better ? Well, they do. It’s greed and corruption that counts. You’d have to be a complete idiot to make the same mistake twice. Folks on the Hill make it 3 and 4 times. Charlie Sheen said it best in the Movie “Platoon” when he wrote to his grandfather while flying back to the LZ at the end of the movie. He said, “Grandfather, it is not these Vietnamese who are our enemy. Our enemy is within ourselves.”

They were able to with our help. We are still helping the Taliban with our incredibly stupid politics, that includes the mother-may-I approach to engaging the enemy and killing them and two-faced Karsi. War is not neat, clean, or convenient, no matter how many lawyers you counsel before attacking. It’s way past time to leave.

Sounds like Baghdad Bob got a new PR job.

There’s not a single original Taliban leader left alive, and tens of thousands… possibly hundreds of thousands of them, are dead. Whether we’re officially there or not, these nuts are going to be getting missiles up their a**es for years to come. So they might want to save the smack talk.
