It says here that Virtue and More missed a beat on the finnstep. Oh, really?

Well, let’s just check out the twitter account of the man who actually invented the finnstep, Petri Kokko. Here’s what the man had to say on the two teams’ performance of this crucial move earlier this evening:

@cocco I don’t understand the judging in #icedancing. @Virtue_Moir should be leading in my honest opinion. #finnstep #Sochi2014

It seems amazing to me that with all the hibbub circling around the Olympics about the fix being in to give the gold to the Americans that you have nothing to say on the matter. The French magazine L’Equipe, the same magazine that broke the story of the figure skating fix being in against the Canadians during the 2002 Salt Lake City games, says that an unnamed Russian coach told their reporter that the U.S and Russian judges have an agreement to give the dance pairs gold to the Americans. I am led to believe that you, Pritha, are present at these games so it’s surprising that you are either unaware of the L’Equipe story or you are ignoring it. I would think that this kind of story would be one that any real journalist would love to sink their teeth into.
