Guess this is what happens when you essentially turn a government over to a bus driver. The irony is most of the people who could actually compromise in running the country have gotten given up and bugged out. Let’s hope there is still someone is left who can patch up the leaks before the ship of state sinks entirely.

sorry for the loss of life….But, if the Venezuelans want to turn to democracy, to better their lives…freedom, never comes easily from socialist and communist states…look at your buddies in Cuba, under the Castro bros…in all these years, since the revolution took them over…how much have their lives improved in all these decades???…id ask the sharks….they are full of the bodies of those unfortunate Cubans that never made it to the shores of the USA, seeking FREEDOM from communism and socialism…they really are failed policies, except for those at the very top..so keep going…don’t quit, till you achieve your goals…whichever they may be

For anyone who has followed Venezuelan history for the past decade or so, they would know that just like in the last Coup attempt in 2002, there were false flag operations, where the opposition used snipers to shoot other members of the opposition to create a national outcry (propagated by news media opposed to Chavez rule) against the government. What better victim than a beauty queen, someone representative of the largely elite opposition. We in the US have not really analyzed the situation in Venezuela besides what the major news agencies and Western Governments have presented.
Venezuela has the #1 oil reserves in the world and they are using that money to help their citizens and other countries in the area. The elite and US have other plans for that oil. If you can’t see through this ploy, you might as well just take the blue pill

Maduro and Cabello are dangerously corrupt sissies. They have no credibility, the Veneuelan people are winning their freedom again and will force the Cubans to go home.

The capitalist/fascists can’t win an election so they resort to violence. These goons are backed by the CIA and should be put down by their own methods.

Venezuela has it’s problems. But political corruption isn’t one of them. The Carter center rates their electoral system among the best in the world. You know, by the people, for the people… The current government is legitimate. The protesters are not.

When will our government extend the unemployment benefits to the two million plus workers which had loss their benefits late December of 2013? While the Republicans are playing politics, these people are facing eviction, hunger, and hopelessness. It’s truly a shame that these same Republicans who claim to stand for “family Values”, have shown themselves to be severely lacking in common decency and values whatsoever. I hope that the public will remember the Republican callousness at next election, and vote them out of office.
