Testosterone drugs should warn of cardiac risk, consumer group says

“Of the 27 studies, 14 that were not funded by the pharmaceutical industry showed a “highly significant” increased risk, Public Citizen said. Thirteen were funded by drug companies and those studies showed no increased cardiovascular risk.”

Whether a specific, life threatening risk was found is 100% correlated with who funded each of the studies. Does this bother anyone but me? Correlation doesn’t prove causation, but I haven’t seen a lot of alternate explanations of possible causation postulated for this situation. I begin to question whether I can rely on any medical research study, regardless of source.
