Just curious. Was it “Islamist fighters” that were ambushed or was it FSA? Was it “Army” that performed the ambush or was it Hezbollah?

Hi @laymangeopoliti:
To answer your questions, (a) there are few FSA left in that part of Damascus, up to my knowledge. Many FSA had made peace agreements with the government, so no need to ambush them!! or encourage killing them. (b) The “Islamist Fighters” were most probably killed. It was performed by Hezbollah!

lets see… thru Hezbollah and Syrian speak…an enemy soldier died, because he fell and hit his head…another enemy soldier, tripped and shot himself….yes, we have heard the wonderful announcements of Syrian prowess…if the enemies of Syria have died in the fighting, it is because they probably had no weapons, or ammunition to defend themselves, due to ..well ya know…

This explains why Israel had to attack Hezbollah’s positions on the request of the US in a bid to provide air support to terrorists.

It also explains a barrage of negative articles yesterday about Syria blocking humanitarian aid access.

Those 170 killed terrorists were the humanitarian aid that the West was trying to send to Syria.

You’re kidding right? Assad has made himself an enemy of human rights. Not to say that either group is in the right here. Keep in mind that “terrorists” is what the stronger army calls the weaker army. This story is about a group of terrorists killed by a group of terrorists backed by a tyrant, not terrorists killed by the “good guys.”

Assad’s forces do more in a day than our “military” does in a month.
Actually, make that our “military” and ‘hired-guns’ contractors.
They’re too busy playing cards, etc., I guess……… wage war.

Why do I feel that it’s at least marginally more likely that prisoners (rebel and otherwise) were taken out to the “ambush” scene in multiple trucks and strewn about while being serially murdered. Doesn’t anyone think that repressive government(s) in the region have not added a page to their “Not Getting Caught” notebooks from certain Serbs’ experiences, as an example?

SHAME on Reuters for giving credibility to propaganda, with no verification of the video. Their report is solely from the government. Al Jazeera at leasts adds (buried) an unnamed quote from “activists”.

Who would actually believe SANA and Hezbollah then, without media presented or other verification?

Sadly the night-vision video I saw shows Hezbollah from a good distance somehow hitting the HERO REBELS with simultaneous explosions – they can thank Vladimir Putin for the weapons used.
Smart rockets he had delivered to Assad? Cluster bombs, banned nearly everywhere else?

Now Hezbollah can return to cowardly hiding in abandoned buildings, shooting the babies within expectant mothers wombs.
Plenty of hard evidence of these and other atrocities recorded by shocked doctors.
