Treating women as simple objects to be fondled and harassed is perfectly consistent with a conservative christian ideology that sees women as second class citizens, men’s property and little more than fetus vessels.

I would expect nothing less out of a conservative christian male.

Nothing to see here, move along….

They’ve made a mockery of our government and the way we practice capitalism, their winner-takes-all approach. We need change, and the sooner the better.

There are 30 million Americans who have some form of mental health issue that has a sexual addiction element involved. That’s a striking number of people, 10 % of the nation’s population in general terms. It’s not an easy diagnosis to make and treatment is likely to be more than a weekend jaunt off to the country side. One salient factor in the diagnosis is impotency or erectile dysfunction. Maybe the good senator should be asked the question as to whether or not such is an element of his sexual addiction if, in fact, he does suffer from the problem. In fact, maybe the entire General assembly ought to be asked if they have an impotency problem since 10% of them may well have the same diagnosis and need for treatment.

I would like to know the exact circumstances of the “harassment” these two women allege. I’m certainly not defending the guy if he was truly being obnoxious, but with the way things are going today, if somebody calls you “my dear” or touches you on the arm, you can claim harassment. So exactly what did this guy do to these women? It would be nice to know the circumstances before casting stones.

BTW why are repubs so madly opposed to ending the USA being the only nation in the western world to guarantee medical care for all at an affordable price , and these are the same people who are so bent on “protecting Life”

A catholic deacon told me that there is still a lot of hatred just under the surface in Canada. Interesting: you must either be extreme Islam, where women who don’t wear a burqa “ask” to be raped, or a GOP “social conservative”. I guess you are against gay marriage, like Putin and Mugabe? @zigo. I’m a bit confused by your characterization of me. The article said two women were harassed by this man. How? That’s all I would like to know. Typical of these forums, people are denouncing this man in a very vile way when they don’t know all of the details.

Barack (I didn’t know that you wouldn’t be able to keep your current insurance if you like it) Obama, but it’s probably all Bush’s fault.

Bill (I never had sex with that woman) Clinton.
