EBay CEO says top shareholders agree PayPal should stay put

The real reason eBay wants to hold onto PayPal is because they make a killing with it. eBay is a lousy place to shop and a lousy place to do business. When you are a seller, they take 9% of your sales. When you are a buyer with a problem, they transfer you to India and leave you on the phone waiting for 2 hours. I’m not sure why people even bother using eBay anymore.

In my opinion when this CEO speaks you can assume 98% of what he’s saying isn’t true

How is it legal for Paypal to charge you fees when eBay already takes 9% of your sales as stated in the last post? I thought eBay now owns PayPal? They are both shady, dodgy, sleazy entities that need to go out of business or be forced to either clean up their act or close down. I have bought stuff on eBay without a problem. However, selling on their is an absolute nightmare, hellish experience, etc. Paypal’s draconian policies towards sellers punishes everyone while the buyers are treated like they walk on water. Even when buyers violate eBay’s policies they are still never punished or held accountable. They are two companies ran by sleazy corporate grifters and I hope both are forced to close. Of course, the sleazoid this article is about and his cronies are already filthy rich anyway so who cares right?
