The White House said it huh?

Well then, in an administration where “truth” is as hard to define as the word “is” once was a few years back, six million enrolees MUST be “true.”

Congrats to us all! Clearly we’re living an episode of “The Twilight Zone.”

I FULLY expect that by the 31st, just over 7 million (the magic number) will have been eclipsed.

6 Million people is only three quarters of the population of New Jersey. After you count how many lost their coverage and have to pay more for it just seems like the biggest scam to ever hit the US.

‘Signing up’ means you have visited the websites (either Fed or State) and completed an insurance application; it doesn’t mean they actually have insurance, nor that they have paid for the policy.. Let’s see what the Insurance Co’s report in their Q1 SEC reporting; I’ll bet you’re going to see a ‘lot fewer’ actual paid policies issued than 6 million..

The last three people to sign up were the Pope, Putin and that blond Prime Minister from Denmark. All three qualified for a subsidy and listed their age as 24. If you believe this crap from the administration, then Chris Cristy has a bridge he would love to sell you, traffic jams included. I’m sure the final audited numbers will be available sometime in late November. Lerner is doing the audit and will probably take the 5th. Nuff said.

Great News!, but this does not mean the law is a success (or failure for that matter) yet, only time will tell, on the order of years. Anyone calling this law a success or failure at this point is not being intellectually honest with themselves. But things are looking good.

Got to love the posters already, having 6 million people sign up for quality affordable healthcare is a bad thing in their world.

The original “Why Obamacare?” argument was that 30 million Americans are uninsured. Since it’s implementation, roughly 15 million insured Americans have had their lives and finances disrupted. In return, six million have signed up (not paid) for insurance. Taxpayers have paid over a billion dollars already. People are being charged more and will have higher out-of-pocket deductibles so that others can get subsidies. The “Party of Free Stuff” (Democrats)can’t grasp the math. Nothing is free. Someone has to pay for the subsidies. Oh, and guess what? The “Cadillac taxes” will hit us soon if we have good insurance. You all know that people with great insurance will have to pay an additional tax to keep their policies since they are a “luxury” right? Pay attention, folks!

First you lower your goal, and then have miraculous increases in the last 60 days of enrolment. why is it that they can never answer to questions about other numbers…how many have paid etc….that should all be easily available. Of these enrollees, how many lost coverage they already had because of Obamacare…what is the actual number of people who have “enrolled” who did not have insurance before? How many who have “enrolled” are in the age group that will actually support Obamacare? How many have pre-existing conditions? And on and on…

And just how many of these 6 million have actually paid? How many are just Medicaid? Seems the HHS won’t make any of those numbers public. Just wait, in a year or so, we’ll be bailing out insurance companies. A fine mess this is, but everyone is just looking the other way.

Ms. Rampton is so transparent in her bias. From the title to the closing paragraph. What I see as the real loss- to the journalistic community and the readers- is the extreme splitting between the conservative right and liberal left. We used to have journalists, news anchors, etc. who were professional enough to report the news in a way that made it an objective presentation of the facts. Today, it seems that the news media is not interested in that. They, the networks, journalists, etc. are more interested in trying to “sell” their political bias to the reader. Ms. Rampton personifies this as well as anyone. Its unfortunate. She is probably doing her job as she was trained.

Judging by most of these comments, the fact that enrollment has exceeded 6 million – not counting Medicaid and enrollments directly with insurance companies – has caused consternation among Republicans. Oh, the horror, the horror.

That just leaves around 293,000,000 not part of the program. I’d love to see the actual breakdown to see how many are really welfare recipients who won’t pay for the medical anyway. Also- how many people who were on a different plan are just paying a different piper for basically the same coverage? If Obama’s office is supplying the figures you know they have been slanted as much as possible to put a positive spin on it. It’s like the US is going out of it’s way not to copy successful medical programs in the rest of the world. When it cost $2,000 to go to the hospital for half an hour to a gat a stitch- something is drastically wrong with the system. Prince William and Kate spent half as much to have the heir to the English throne born in the best hospital in the country with round the clock professionals on hand than the average American spends on a routine birth without complications.

6 million enrolled? How many of these 6 million are real people/glitches? How many are people that have accidentally made duplicate accounts because the website is garbage? How many are of the million are illegals? This is crap and the whole system needs to be scrapped!! The previous healthcare system may have not been perfect but compared to Obamacare it dang sure was a master piece!
