I’m an Obama man, but even I must admit…. that’s kind of Chinese.

Even if, and that means i dont believe them, 7 million did sign up for obamacare, how does that pay for 40 mill uninsured to be insured. I never get this guys math, never. And as for the wage, i understand what he is saying about needing to up the minimum, but now isnt the time, simply because the economy hasnt been good for 10 years now, or is this the way its going to be, if so it sure cant handle any raises. I guess now its hope for a change.

No mention of our $17 trillion debt and rising, daily disregard for the U.S. Constitution and system of democracy, the encouragement of mass illegal immigration, the refusal to deport 68,000 know CRIMINAL illegal aliens in 2013, forced funding for abortion, etc….? Welcome to Chicago machine politics at its finest.

Someone might want to tell this reporter that the ACA has a majority of American support finally after years of GOP propaganda dominating the airwaves and articles like this one. Included in the minority who still don’t prefer the ACA are those who want it stronger not weaker.

Obamacare is already devastating to middle class workers (note that he called them voters, which should give you some perspective of what he is REALLY saying). Why does he assume that balancing the “runaway” Federal Budget would harm them more?

That’s not all they want to do, Mr. President: the Republicons want to scrap Medicare and Social Security too! Just look at Ryan’s budget proposal.

Please tell me you know that all that debt didn’t happen because of President Obama. His policies have produce the least of any, especially Reagan. Also, tell me you know there have been record deportations since he’s been our President, about double the bush/GOP decade.

I don’t believe anything that he says. In fact I’m just about to the point of not believing anything the Democratic Party says. I know most politicians do not tell the whole truth because they are more about themselves, than for us the people. But so far their are a few GOP’s that I could support.

Forcing people to buy snake-oil by force of law is nothing to brag about—unless you are a political thug, i.e., Chicago politics at its worst. No one talks about the atomic bomb in the room called economic fallout from this for the American taxpayer (and that’s not adding the millions of illegals that many want to include).

This reminds me; whatever became of John Boenner’s ‘Laser-like focus on JOBS’ he promised in 2009? It’s been nothing but ‘radical right-wing social engineering’ (c)Newt Gingrich) since then.
Fact is, people – the GOP doesn’t represent Average Working Americans.

@ccharles: The 7 million pays for the estimated 48 million [from Bloomberg News] because they are essentially forcing young, healthy Americans to signup for something they really will not use. That’s the financial structure of the ACA. However, there’s still a problem: many of those who have already signed up are selecting the lowest level [highest deductible] of care. So, it may not be fully funded.

this article does a nice job of using facts and statistics. you know those things that get in the way of a good spin job to explain how obamacare is an unmitigated disaster and will only get worse.
