This is my shocked face.

The Netanyahu government has approved in excess of 2000 new homes in the Palestinian West Bank since the start of the talks! ALL ILLEGAL AND IN VIOLATION OF THE 4th Geneva Convention on a Human Rights.

This is a government ABSOLUTELY DETERMINED to undermine international pressure for the establishment of a Palestinian state for the 5 million true indigenous people of the region. The international community and in particular the EU must now act!

“Palestinian opposition to Israel’s demand that it be recognized as a Jewish state”

This is a demand designed by Netanyahu to block the peace process. Never before has Israel demanded recognition as the “Jewish State of Israel”, not in the Egyptian peace agreement, not in the Jordanian peace agreement, not in any earlier negotiations with the Palestinians. No country is going to accept this demand because it negates the rights of existing non-Jewish citizens of Israel and negates the Palestinian’s right of return.

When the United States of America recognized Israel in 1948, President Truman explicitly rejected the terms “the new jewish state” and instead replaced those terms with “the State of Israel”.

Great….just great!

Not only is Israel stealing Palestinian land and natural resources, but now Israel is threatening to steal their tax revenues.

Abbas has said the Palestinians will not continue the talks beyond April 29th.

Who’s kidding who?

They can use it to pay the Palestinian utility bills.

“Shalom threatens to cut off Palestinian electricity over unpaid bills

Energy and Water Minister Silvan Shalom says “they have over a billion shekels of debt and they’ll need to pay them.”

Let me guess, rgbviews thinks Israel should provide free electricity so Palestinians have enough energy to produce rockets and other weapons.

Any idea how many countries have “Islamic Republic” as part of their names?

1.3 billion Muslims in the world, 20 million Jews, and rgbviews is outraged that ISrael wants to be recognized as the only Jewish country in the world.

Meanwhile, the Christian population of the Middle East has decreased for decades in every country but one – Israel.

Want to go on a tour of the churches in Saudi Arabia? Won’t take you long, it’s illegal for Christians to gather for prayer, much less have a church.

Now I understand. Israel wants to be like one of those Islamic Republics. Shame on me, I thought Israel was supposed to be a liberal democracy.

This is not why I am “outraged” (your words). I am outraged that Netanyahu and friends always find way to torpedo any negotiations of peaceful co-existence and the world lets them get away with it.

If Israel, as the “occupying power”, were to shut off any utility service to the “occupied” population it would be another violation of international law.

By the way, where does that water and electricity come from? Water from natural resources partly belonging to the State of Palestine? Water made from the sea using energy resources that are partly Palestinian? Electricity generated by gas coming from partly Palestinian natural gas fields?

Uh uh. You are merely a useful id!iot, you are not the problem.

Hamas Charter:

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).”

“”The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.” (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).”

The Palestinians “recognize” Israel as a blank spot on a map, to be filled in with a brand spanking new Arab state that never existed before in the history of the world.

They need to acknowledge it as the JEWISH STATE, openly and once and for all.

Nothing in your imaginary “international law” says Israel has to provide services for free. Israel is entitled to extract payment.

Get a grip, there is no such thing as a “State of Palestine,” never was. Gaza was controlled by Egypt prior to 1967, the West Bank by Jordan, and both Egypt and Jordan have relinquished claims.

Gas fields belong to ISrael, were discovered by Israel, and developed by Israel. Gaza has no claim on them whatsoever.
