in china connections and favours mean everything, I meet a Chinese lady once her business card listed so many businesses she was a director for that it needed a double card folded together with list front and back. her claim to having so many business titles – she was the best friend of deng xiao ping’s daughter. so you tell me Jiang Zemin grandson doesn’t have a list of connection at state owned companies that don’t owe his granddad some favours and also his granddad probably benefits greatly financially from this so he has a reason to push these ties for favours.

Anyone with a real brain knows if you’re in government anywhere in the world then your job is to keep the sheep guessing, and rake in the money from your position. No matter Communist, Russian, or American. It’s all the same. Those in power profit. Those without power work for those in power. All the rest of that patriotism and we vs them is garbage to keep the sheep behind the fence.
Ka-shing? KA-CHING!

Connection matters more in DC than Beijing. The authors wrote this article not because China is more corrupted than the US, but because the US business leaders want to brainwash us that “we are still extraordinary” & “we American live in a better place”. Come on, authors, please stop this.

China has problems like this or that, but they have growth!

What does USA have? Bad mouths only.

Don’t waster your time on crappy article like this. Bashing China does make someone feel better, but it will make us live better.
