We need to get out of there. They are not worth one more American life or one more American hard-earned long suffering debt ridden dollar.

The reason being: “My god is better than your god.”

Can we please just stop with the irrational bronze-age childishness? It’s the 21st century for goodness sake!

Tell me again how we’re winning the war in Afghanistan. The people we say we’re trying to help- hate us. The allies we train to assist us and take over when we leave can’t be trusted not to kill us. Our youth are dying and being maimed for absolutely nothing gained . Oh sorry, the opium production has increased by 40%. You’d think with all the planes and drones and copters and satellites flying over that country daily they’d be able to spot large new fields of green with bright red poppies. That’s really what the Taliban and Al Qaida are really fighting for. The real bloodbath will start the second our troops leave.

We need to get out of the middle east entirely. Let the muslims kill each other then we won’t have to worry about them. These people have been heathens since the beginning of time and will be until the end of time.

Get out of the middle east, protect our borders and put a freeze on muslim immigration!

The Afghans apparently don’t care if the Taliban returns as the government.

So why should anyone else?

We should have just bombed them into oblivion, then left them to rot.
I’m pretty sick of this “winning hearts and minds” BS.
Clearly, they lack both.

The US defeated itself by staying in Afghanistan too long. We destroyed our computers, cell phones, and digital cameras in smart munitions; we destroyed our ground and air vehicles; we burned billions of gallons of our fuels; and we wasted billions of our man hours in work that produced nothing but higher national debts.

Russia, China, and four central Asian lands will watch Afghanistan after the US and NATO leave. They live in the area and have shorter and cheaper supply lines. They conduct joint police and military maneuvers to prepare. Good luck.
