Everyone already knows that Russia is going to invade and annex Eastern Ukraine because the Great Cold Warrior, Putin, is trying to reconstitute the Russian Empire.

Goodbye human rights, and goodbye freedom. You will be property of the Russian Empire, or you will be crushed by Czar Putin.

The operative word here is “their” own people. It is not like they are kidnapping and killing journalist or poisoning people like Putin

The pro-Russians (and Russian agents) attacked and took over government buildings. Sounds like an attempt to overthrow the governement.

yea, blame Russia for everything: for the unrest and treachery in Ukrainian Armed Forces, for starving Ukrainian troops, for lack of manuals for Russian made weapons, for people who do not support Nazis, for Nazis walking in Kiev with assault rifles and occupying governmental buildings.

Blame for everything!

This will drag on long enough for Russia and China to come to an agreement on shifting oil/gas/coal to China. Then the EU can either pay what Russia demands or shut down factories and buy more made in China blankets.

Gosh what a mess! A casual glance around the world, and just look at all the crap that is stirring. Of all the things I have thought Obummer has messed up, I hope against hope that he can somehow get this one right. China has an on going military build up, which is their right to do. They are trading jabs with Japan about a hand full of islands, and other Asian nations about this or that. Japan is working on their own military build up, which is their right to do also, cause they see China as a possible problem. North Korea, well they dont ever change much, they are always claiming they are going to call the thunder down on us. Obummer is in Asia telling everyone we got their back. Combine this with what is going on in Ukraine/Europe, where we also are telling folks we got their backs too, while Vlad is sippin his “tater whiskey” and causing as much hell as he can. Russia may not be as big a military as they once were, but make no mistake, they still have some new nasty conventional weapons to go with the stuff they already had. How many people can we possibly back up at one time. Then, naturaly, look for China and Russia to be more chummy than ever. I hope this mess blows over and nothing comes from any of it, but just looking at the pieces as they move around the world, it looks more than a little spooky. Obummer, we have to have leadership in these kind of things, dont drop the ball on this!

Putin should face the justice for the crimes against the Syrian people or the religious intolerance and persecution in Russia. Don’t let Putin and Russian government fool you.

The US/EU/NATO, a/k/a Greater Israel, is really itching for a slap down. History’ll thank the slapper gushingly.

It won’t be too long before Russia and China ink their energy agreement. Looks like it’ll be a trillion $ deal over three decades. Sanctions, shmanctions.

The US empire is starting to unravel at the seams. Bad policy over the last 25 years finally has the chickens coming home to roost. $17.6 trillion in debt, $100+ trillion in unfunded entitlement liabilities which will only grow due to Obamacare, low information/apathetic populace, a mainstream media that gets their talking points directly from the federal government, the social fabric unraveling at the seams as things like sacrifice, honor, respect are fading into the history books, the rule of law no longer the absolute authority but compromised depending on ideology/objective. The US can no longer be the high moral standing policeman of the world since we rot from within.

The consequences globally are less influence, less options to protect our national interests, less friends and eventually a loss of reserve currency status which will be the cherry on top of an empire that will be following the way of Great Britain not too long ago all while we continually lose our standard of living.

How dare the Ukrainians protect their sovereign territory against obvious Russian insurgents. They were forced out of the Crimea at gun point because the people wanted to rejoin Russia anyway. Now the world is waiting to see if Putin is just doing his Mussolini strut to impress his new trophy girlfriend or to keep the rest of us guessing. If he doesn’t invade we will call him ‘Peace Maker’ and congratulate ourselves on our great diplomacy. If he does invade are we going to actually do anything with the risk of escalating global conflict? Maybe Putin will let his jets do a few more practice runs on our navy to see how far he can go. The Brits immediately scrambled jets when he tried the same thing with them but we were afraid to even missile track unless it look hostile.

“During that call, Putin called for urgent talks between Russia, the EU and Ukraine on Russian gas supplies to Europe,” – good, it means that Putin started playing his aces… and the REAL sanctions haven’t started yet.

We the west have tried to overthrow Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. Maybe we should take our democratic ways and give it a rest.

@JamesMcQuaid

And what bloody crime is that?
Seems that most of the killing has been done by the US installed regime so far.
