Anyone would think most emails of Australian MPs, and especially government front benchers, were newly found Keystone Kops episodes.

They are largely amateurish self serving pompous people looking out for themselves, “the money”, and their own. My suspicion is the Chinese had a good laugh.

In the global village, everyone knows everything. But now suddenly everyone knows that everyone knows everything. In this case, the Chinese have been reading the Aussie PM’s messages. We didn’t know that, but it is not a huge surprise. But now we find out that not only are the Chinese reading the messages, but everyone knows they are reading them. And strangely enough, that turns out to be an actual surprise to almost everybody.
