US Secretary Kerry, compares Israel’s military occupation of Palestinian land to the former S.Africa apartheid regime

Having known both countries for very many years, there is little question that there are many similarities between the former ruling National Party in South Africa during apartheid and the current right-wing, Likud Party of Israel, the leader of which is the hard-line, Zionist premier, Binyamin Netanyahu.

In both cases, there was, or is, an attitude of superiority that daily demeans those in the Occupied Territories. A palpable arrogance that proclaims those under occupation as inferior and unworthy of respect.

Of course, there is, in reality, no difference whatsoever in the DNA/gene pool between an Israeli and an Arab; the inequality in performance being due to the education readily available to all Israeli children but usually denied to the Arab family, along with essential living supplies.

Israel has maintained a blockade of essential medical, building, food and other supplies to 1.6 million Palestinians in Gaza for now over six years in an unsuccessful attempt to effect an illegal regime change. In the West Bank, so-called ‘pricetag’ terrorists today burn-down olive groves and raze houses in scenes reminiscent of the dreaded SA Police who destroyed the multi-ethnic, District Six in Cape Town in, 1966, forcing its 55,000 inhabitants into ‘Bantustans’ as their district was declared a ‘White Only Area’ by the National Party government.

The word ‘apartheid’ means the state of being apart and was a violent system of racial segregation in South Africa from 1948 to 1994 when global pressure forced a non-violent political change to majority rule.

A near identical position of racial segregation applies throughout Israel today with the occasional Arab and/or Muslim being appointed to office as a token of ‘equality’ when that is patently absent. Virtually every month, the Netanyahu administration authorises yet more illegal housing permits in the Occupied Territories in gross violation of international law, the Geneva Conventions and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

20 years ago, world opinion was instrumental in bringing about political change in South Africa to democratic rule by the largest indigenous people of the region, the Muslim Arabs. It is clear that it is a matter of time before similar pressure forces an identical outcome in former Palestine.

Jewish religious law says it must be done:
Deuteronomy 7

(7:1a) “When the LORD … hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.”
God promises to cast out seven nations including the Amorites, Canaanites, and the Jebusites. But he just couldn’t do it. (See Joshua 15:63, 16:10, 17.12-13; Judges 1:21, 27, 3:1-5)
(7:1b) “Seven nations greater and mightier than thou”
These nations were “greater and mightier” than the Israelites, who according to Exodus 12:37 and Numbers 1:45-46 already had numbered several million. So the region, according to the bible, must have had a population of more than twenty million!
(7:2-5)
God tells the Israelites to kill, without mercy, all the inhabitants of the land that they conquer.
To kill or not to kill
How should strangers be treated?
What the Bible says about Genocide

If you do show any mercy to such strangers, “give your daughters to any of them, or “take” any of their daughters, then you’ll get God so angry that he’ll “destroy thee suddenly.”

(7:2) “When the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them.”

(7:3) “Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.”

(7:4) “So will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.”

(7:5) “Ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.”
Destroy the altars, images, and places of worship of those with different religions.

(7:6a) “For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God.”
Is only God holy?

(7:6b) “The LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people.”
God prefers the Israelites to everyone else. It’s not that he’s prejudiced, he just like them better.

(7:9) “Keep his commandments to a thousand generations.”
Are the Old Testament laws still binding?

(7:10)
“Repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them.”
God will kill those who hate him.

(7:14-15)
God’s favorite people will never be infertile (neither will their cows!) and will never get sick. (God will send infertility and diseases on the other guys.)

(7:14) “Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.”

(7:15) “The LORD will take away from thee all sickness … but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.”

(7:16-26)
Kill everyone that the Lord delivers to you. Show them no mercy. God will send hornets to help you with the genocide. After you have killed everyone, destroy their religious symbols. They are abominations to God. If you bring an image into your house you will become “a cursed thing like it.”
Is God merciful?
What the Bible says about Genocide

(7:16) “Thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; Thine eye shall have no pity upon them.”

(7:20) “God will send the hornet among them … for the LORD thy God is … a mighty God and terrible.”

(7:23) “The LORD … shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.”

(7:24) “Thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.”

(7:25) “The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire … for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.”

(7:26) “Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.”

7:1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
7:2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
7:3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
7:4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
7:5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7:7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
7:8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
7:10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

All countries have the right to impose regulations for building. Buildings are demolished here in the UK for the same reason. Try to build a small village in the middle of a military firing ground and see what happens. Why should Israel be castigated for doing the same? The time taken to obtain permissions and permits in Gaza and the West Bank is only 867 days, much shorter than for the majority of other countries. It’s time to treat Israel seriously as a generally fair and moderate democracy, something that can’t be said of any Arab country. The fact that Israeli soldiers salvaged rugs and scriptural texts before the bulldozers moved in says a great deal that so many people don’t want to know.

The West Bank is NOT part of Israel. It’s an illegally annexed territory, and, according to international law, Israel had no right to either annex it or build on it. So comparing what Israel is doing to any other country imposing building regulations is just plain ignorant. This demonstrates how little Americans know of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and why it is so easy to bamboozle Americans and stuff their empty heads with propaganda. If there were even one honest politician in Washington, he/she would say that what the Palestinians are doing by fighting back against Israel’s land grab is exactly what any red-blooded American would do if another country attempted to steal our land. Lastly, international law gives oppressed peoples the right to fight back–with any necessary means–against the kind of aggression Israel uses.Americans, get your heads out of the clouds and wake up to what your country and the Israelis are doing throughout the Mideast.

It happens all the time. They even evicted a large group of Jews by force not too long ago. It is only when the so called Palestinians have structures destroyed that it makes mainstream news. If these same Palis were hurt or killed during conflict between the IDF and Gaza due to being in a red zone then the Jews would be even more condemned. ***God Bless Israel***, Home of the regathered Jews.

I am not sure about religious law saying it must be done, but secular law does.

from the Likud Charter:

“Safeguarding the right of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel as an eternal, inalienable right, working diligently to settle and develop all parts of the land of Israel, and extending national sovereignty to them.”

http://israel.patriotactionnetwork.com/likud-party-constitution/

For those confused about what ‘Land of Israel means:

“The Land of Israel (Hebrew: אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל ʼÉreṣ Yiśrāʼēl, Eretz Yisrael) is a biblical name for the territory roughly corresponding to the area encompassed by the Southern Levant. Related biblical, religious and historical English terms include the Land of Canaan, the Promised Land, the Holy Land, and Palestine. The definitions of the limits of this territory vary between biblical passages, with these specifically in Genesis 15, Exodus 23, Numbers 34 and Ezekiel 47. Nine times elsewhere in the Bible, the settled land is referred as “from Dan to Beersheba”.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_of_Israel

Israel’s aim is to wipe Palestine and its people off the map, to ‘settle and develop’ it, and ‘extending national sovereignty’ over it – it is right there in black and white. The proof is that it is exactly what they are doing with their settlements in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Jordan Valley, and they have done the same by demolishing this mosque – applying Israeli laws to occupied land.
