Sterling spends 12.5 million in 1981, and now Forbes rates the Clippers as being worth $575 million.

Jerry Buss bought the LA Lakers for $67.5 million in 1979 from Jack Kent Cooke. Now Forbes values the Lakers at 1 billion dollars.

The Lakers looks like a better growth in value.
