Good reason to use a camera system rather than a direct line-of-sight peep hole. Also, you shouldn’t answer your door without having a gun handy.

People stay safe! Don’t answer your doors late at night especially if you did not invite anyone over or you don’t know them. If someone comes up to your home late at night and want to use your phone or need help. Call the police to help them. Install cameras around your home. If possible get some dogs that will bark and alert you to trouble. Get a dog in your home and outside. Just a thought. God sees everything so everyone will answer to evil doings.

outrageous, just outrageous.

I wish we could somehow identify all violent people and just annihilate them all instantly, poof. Not happening of course, but it’d be nice.

maybe you do not see more comments because Reuters has a bottleneck and does not post all comments made.

Let’s not blame the freaks out there in Hollyweird, right? I just watched a recent movie where this was the killer’s M.O.

How would having a gun handy help in this situation? You idiot! I feel sorry for the family’s loss. I hope the shooter gets caught, probably in a similar situation, but hopefully he survives. With cholastomy bags!

A proper surveillance system would have saved this man’s life. Terribly sad. May the murderer(s) die slow deaths.
