Schroders, get a clue. The Pfizer bid was dual-purpose: it allowed Pfizer to either get out with some semblance of dignity from a ridiculously poor effort at a merger (Astrazeneca was being stubborn and unfair), or it allowed Pfizer to utilize shareholders like yourself to pressure AstraZeneca into filling your pockets with short-term financial fees.
