She’s the one who used to do those late night Pennzoil commercials.

She’ll be missed.

She will be missed. A soft spoken woman with words that could change the course of an individual. Our generation will remember her. We will pass it on to the next.

Oddly left out of the glowing overview of her life was her fierce support of Fidel Castro, how she “didn’t have to apologize for America” any more after Obama’s election, another one on the bandwagon trying to get cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal out of jail, trying to push that Islam was not connected to the terrorists on 9/11, ardent Farrakhan supporter, yet she was on the board of the Holocaust Museum in D.C. Would help if we told the whole, glorious story of the amazing life of her.

It is a sad to hear the passing of such an inspiration. Her words, that have empowered and inspired a lot of people, will live on through her works. I have made a tribute memorial in her honor. For those who have time, you can view it here: http://www.thememorium.com/Memorials/maya-angelou RIP
