Same thing. He hasn’t spoken to anyone except his handlers.

dwightmlee? We have gridlock in DC. The ultra liberals are in control is only a fantasy in your and Ted Nugent’s mind. If you believe that an all Republican government is the savior…look no further than 2000 to 2006 when Republicans controlled the House, the Senate and the Presidency. Far more damage was done to our country in those years than since 2009. Your rant has no basis in reality.

Give the guy some leeway. Let’s hear and understand more. I think we owe it to any soldier (navy, marines) to get them back. Period. As someone who was in II (and yes, served overseas) , I think any GI would want to know he wouldn’t be deserted. Later, judgement to be rendered when tempers cool.
I’ll bet any soldier up front is going to secretly think it was the right move.
From very “preliminary reports” he was not too swift a soldier to begin with.
So, fellow militaries, think if you are captured (no matter what the reason), aren’t you going to be exhilarated to hear all the armchair generals and congressional pundits (how many served?) exclaim, “No ransom.” Oh yeah; I’ll vote for that guy!!

Sad enough that the Obama haters use hate instead of reason when making their judgements about Obama, but it despicable that they use this same hate instead of reason in their persecution of one of our rescued POWs.

You know every single one of these haters would have been vilifying Obama if this young man died in captivity.

I don’t care if the guy did walk away from his post. He will never have a normal life again. The public will see to that. So why send him to jail? You cannot put the deaths of the people who looked for him on his hands. PEOPLE, IT WAS A WAR!! Shit happens, they could have died in a million different ways. I was there, TWICE! Believe me, I know there are millions of ways to die out there. Leave the guy alone. If we found out he did leave his post, discharge his ass from the Military dishonorably. The more we say this guy needs to go to jail, the less likely he’ll get punished for walking away. Because, again, the Government will have to pay his bills the rest of his life because the public will never leave him alone. Think about it.

He should not have been promoted to Sergeant automatically. In fact no should go from PFC to Sgt. automatically. When did that start?
I can’t believe the Taliban have anyone worth trading for those five leaders. But perhaps the President actually made a better deal but not publically as he was there a week before his release “just to say hi tot he troops”.

The administration showed complete incompetence or huge arrogance in its handling of the press. Either way the president lost all support from me, and I had been a supporter.

Harsh treatment? Maybe, maybe not. But military bulletins are not sufficiently credible. Why?

How is it that Bergdahl survives five years of capitivity — and even learned the Pashto language along the way — but then suddenly became so weak he couldn’t even speak to his own parents — a whole week now, after regaining his freedom?

I expect he’s getting lots of military “debriefing” — to make sure he won’t say anything embarrassing to Obama – like how disillusioned he might have gotten, etc.

In the meantime, yeah, that he was harshly mistreated and thus justifying Obama’s prisoner swap — may or may not be true — but would certainly be expected, coming from our military!

I, for one, am getting sick and tired of your playing the race card on anyone who disagrees with you. You simply can’t separate our opinions from your hateful personal characterizations of us, for which you cannot possibly have any evidence: you only think you can see into our heads.

I have reported your post as abuse and will report every post into which you falsely inject race.

There is only one reason why Bergdahl was a POW…he made that choice.

Here’s the thing with progressive liberal lemmings…accountability by their rules…where the rest of us use it all the time…you can’t pick and choose…but they do…part of the problem with the US is no consequences or accountability for anyone’s action.
