The numbers are very confusing and contradictory. The UN news digests of last week put the totals of death sentences handed down over the last few moths at over 1100 and the last 200 weren’t mentioned yet. The digest didn’t mention acquittals.

This is what happens when you try to take over a country by ramming your religious ideology down everyone’s throats, and then don’t’ succeed. Payback time.

So we give Egypt aid for stopping a war with Jews but suspend it when they topple a government that was killing Christians?

Something is not right.

Hey folks, time to read some of the history of the Muslim Brotherhood and the people who belong and in leadership positions. One can start with the #2 man behind OBL. Remember him and 9/11? Well, #2 man was a leader in Egypt’s MB. Try reading some history, oh, since about the 1870s under the Ottoman Rule. Try to remember that Sadat was assassinated by members of the MB. Have the knowledge that Egypt is not a democracy or anywhere near it in it’s history. And it’s history is a few thousand years longer than any nation you might relate to. Finally, after Farouk, the last Egyptian King who was a shill for Great Britain, Egypt has been ruled by a military, that got it’s original training and backing form Civil War officers (Both sides) with the encouragement of U.S. Grant. The Army is closely trained by the U.S. Army and has back door channels for discussion.
People’s surprise and anger and “am appalled” is crocodile tears. The MB IS one of our enemies and is in league in Syria with the ISIS and ISIL. Do some reading and have some understanding of Egypt, not a western nation by any sense.

seems to me the editors are not aware of what is the source of violence and killing in Syria and Iraq by the new wave of militants. Thank you very much we don’t want it in Egypt.IF USA wants them to be left alone like Sheik AbdelRahman who tried to blow off some buildings in NY and was a super motivator for 9/11, then its a foolish mistake. Some activists live in the heavens, by Crack or other drugs
