I’m sure the Chinese are saying that U.S. hacking threatens their national security as well. I am also sure that the U.S. would stop their hacking because of this complaint.

This is very similar to the U2 missions the U.S. flew in the 60’s over the Soviet Union. The Soviets complained about the overflights and intrusion into their airspace. The U.S. ignored the complaints until the Soviets shot down one of the U2’s. The U.S. stopped the flyovers after this incident.

We now use satellites to spy on each other. All countries know this is happening and take measures to hide or move items when the satellite is overhead when they do not want them to be viewed.

Instead of complaining, the U.S. should strengthen its systems to prevent hacking, or are we admitting that we do not have the means to protect our systems?

I do not rely on others to not hack my system, nor complain about it when it happens. I am responsible for the security of my computer and employ a firewall, antivirus/antispam programs and use common sense when choosing and changing passwords.

Poor US government, being spied upon by China. What dirty play on China’s part, something the US government would never ever do to to other countries, especially China. How dare the Chinese do this to a friendly country that has China’s best interests at heart. It is truly sad that the US is attacked in such an unfair manner.
