Note the last line, means all the previous Lip Service is BS, take one guess on who will pay the tab. The children would be eligible for asylum, and their parents will claim them once they are give resident status. It is the President himself, and the Democrats the have caused this problem, now Kerry is drawing Red Lines just like Obama. Alot of these countries are exporting their problems to the U.S., remember when Castro opened the flood gates, he did not send Cuba’s finest to the U.S., our country has not learned it’s lesson yet.

The POTUS really believes that a path to citizenship will solve the problem? Hello…anybody there? The problem is that he refuses to position the resources necessary to close our borders.

The second problem is that we grant illegals the right to deportation hearings (including convicted criminals) instead of picking them up and dropping them off at the border.

The Administratation and supporters would solve the problem by rescinding the laws being broken. For the soft-hearted ones; what would you do about the people wanting to flee crime, oppression or poverty elsewhere in the world who cannot walk to the United States.

I expected to read comments from liberals, angry about lack of compassion by the POTUS, instead, I see blistering comments by haters even though the president is doing exactly what they have asked for. The president has reached out to the source countries, is moving resources to the borders, is ramping up deportations. The president has done EVERYTHING the American people have asked for except change the color of his skin, and still no love. That tells me something. Shameful that supporters of the steps he has taken can not give him one iota of credit for doing exactly what was asked. Look in the mirror to see if his policies are really the problem.

According to a border patrolman today on tv, if anyone, even a drug dealer, says he’s a group’s guardian, then border patrol can’t question that. As far as border patrol is concerned, he’s their guardian, and this gives the illegals more rights regarding deportation.

@Timbuk3: It’s because Obama and his friends are liars. If he wanted to convince the enforcement first people — those you call haters — he would send out the National Guard to reinforce border patrol rather than shift around a few personnel to pick up the slack, as if the problem required a mere minor adjustment.

Whoever is behind this massive immigration by children, and it ISN’T THE CHILDREN THEMSELVES, is counting on the US being blinded by sympathy and allowing the to stay somehow.

We simply cannot allow that to happen, because it would literally open the floodgates until we all drown!

Bleeding hearts, stand down, this is a really dangerous situation and we don’t need to let the future criminals of America into a country already rife with lawless disrespectful illegals corroding the very fabric of our civilized lives. And what’s up with Mexico just letting them pass right through, too busy counting all of our money that they have been funneling down there for years now. Worst neighbors EVER!

I don’t understand the headline on this article: “U.S. will deport undocumented Central American children” — to where???

If they are children, they might not know, or maybe their parents told them not to say, which country they came from.

So was that the real point of Kerry’s visit to Central America, to see which country would take the children???

This is a surprisingly hard line from a President who is increasingly governing from what appears to me to be “of the right.” I think the atrocious recovery news combined with the catastrophic roll out of “Obamacare” and crushing defeat of Eric Cantor by the Tea Party Express is starting to have an impact on Washington…a town long known for it’s conservatism actually.

The bulk of the “war on terror” resides there. that can make Governing “back home” seem incongruous as there no bigger military town on earth than Washington DC.

Obama’s approach of working with the source countries to stop the children leaving in the first place is far more sensible that GOP posturing. It is cheaper, more effective, and more practical than any suggestion from the GOP. Howling “Enforce the laws!” sounds all tough and macho and authoritarian so righties like saying it, but it is also hugely hypocritical as Republicans didn’t “Enforce the laws” when they had the opportunity. Obama enforces the laws a lot more than Bush did – fact.

Treating is as a humanitarian issue is also the correct approach. The children are not individually responsible because they are children, so holding them until they can be returned to someone who will look after them is 100% the right way to go.

It is a far better approach than the GOP alternative of… what? Shoot them as the cross the border? Push them back into the desert to die? It is hard to tell what the GOP want because, as always, they have no specifics.

I cannot even begin the imagine the costs already incurred due to this influx of illegal aliens. The plane tickets alone are going to cost an enormous amount. I also don’t really approve of the fact that these people are going to be placed in towns until their so called hearings occur. If that’s the case then mayors and Goverors right now need to make sure that no local aid is provided on the backs of US citizens within their communities. The people that these illegal aliens are being placed with are 100% responsible for their care and provisions. In addition I do not want any of these youths placed in our public schools, again, on the US citizens tax dollar. Do we even know if they all their vaccinations or if we are exposing our own US children to diseases that we had hoped were fully eradicated in our nation. In addition, any girl or woman of breeding age shall be required to get the birth control injection that prevents pregnancy. No exceptions on this. I think this whole thing was a planned scheme and I personally want a list of all the names of these illeal aliens put into a public database so that we the people can monitor how long they have been allowed to say and when they are finally deported.

Just do it – get the job done. We do not need these takers
in America. Get them out and send all of the foreign refugees
back to where they came from.

Taxpayers do not need to pay one cent for these illegals and
foreign refugees – however, WE ARE PAYING FOR THEM, while Americans and our Veterans are getting screwed. There is something terribly
wrong here when Americans and our Veterans do not get the help
they need, but these foreigners get every thing.

Illegal is illegal. Get them out of our country. Protest,
demand change, close the doors. Tell the state department
to end the refugee resettlement crap, and demand that your
elected officials defund this program without delay.

If that was Obama’s approach, it is failing. There are 2 things we can do to illegals, deport or release. Releasing is simply handing them back over to their respective countries. Deporting them is giving them a hearing and then formally transporting them to their original country. While Obama has deported more, Bush released more. In this case, we are spreading them across the country, giving them a court date, and never going to see them again. If that is how Obama’s approach is working, it is failing.

@Alkaline ….when they come to your neighborhood, suck the resources from your kids school, and drain the public services paid with your property taxes. Our schools killed virtually every G&T program to fund special classes for their children, most of whom qualify for reduced lunches. Plus, we had to float another bond for more classroom space, and our hospital writes-off millions annually for non-payment of emergency services, while they stand in line and pay with AFDC credits.

That’s the reality of illegal immigration.

I’m NOT SEEING MUCH BUT A BUNCH OF ABSURD POSTURING. THE REPUBLICAN INACTION IS “CAUSING” THIS.

BGoldberg wrote: “I cannot even begin the imagine the costs already incurred due to this influx of illegal aliens. The plane tickets alone are going to cost an enormous amount.” I BELIEVE THE COST IS 20K PER PERSON TO DEPORT.

“I also don’t really approve of the fact that these people are going to be placed in towns until their so called hearings occur.” WHERE WOULD YOU PUT THEM,IN A SPACE PORT?

“If that’s the case then mayors and Goverors right now need to make sure that no local aid is provided on the backs of US citizens within their communities.” ALL US TAX PAYERS WILL BE PAYING THIS BILL, BUT SOMEHOW WILL NOT AGREE TO SUPPORT THEIR OWN CITIZENS VIA UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE COVERAGE. JUST WAIT UNTIL PEOPLE ARE SICKLY AND DISABLED, THEN PICK UP THE COST – VERY SHORT SIDED AND IGNORANT PEOPLE TO DO THIS TO THIS NATION, NOT TO MENTION GREEDY AND EVIL.

In addition I do not want any of these youths placed in our public schools, again, on the US citizens tax dollar. THEY WILL BE AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT, ADDITIONALLY THEY WILL BE PUT TO WORK WITH VISAS BEFORE AMERICANS BECASUE THE ARE FRESH AND CHEEP, JUST THE WAY CORPORATE AMERICA LIKES THEM.

“Do we even know if they have all their vaccinations.” THEY MOST LIKELY GET VACCINATIONS IMMEDIATELY.

“If we are exposing our own US children to diseases that we had hoped were fully eradicated in our nation.” AMERICAN CHILDREN ARE EXPOSED TO TOXIC FOOD SUPSTANCES AND TOXIC ENVIRONMENTS ON A DAILY BASIS, WHEN ARE WE GOING TO ERADICATE THAT?

“In addition, any girl or woman of “breeding age” shall be required to get the birth control injection that prevents pregnancy. No exceptions on this.”

DON’T LET THE CATHOLIC CHURCH HEAR ABOUT THIS ONE, THEY WANT THEM BREEDING AND BREEDING AND BREEDING SOME MORE – THAT IS WHAT WOMEN ARE FOR AND LITTLE ELSE.

“I think this whole thing was a planned scheme” (YES, BUT THIS WAS PLANNED PRIOR TO THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION)”and I personally want a list of all the names of these illeal aliens” THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, ONLY USA CITIZEN’S ARE PUT ON THOSE LISTS.

Fiddlehead wrote: Kerry warns the undocumented will be deported? HE HAS TO SAY THAT, BUT THAT IS UNLIKELY TO HAPPEN FOR MOST OF THEM. WE NEED THE FRESH BREEDERS AND LABORERS.

We do not need these takers in America. AGREED GET RID OF THE MULTI-NATIONAL CORPORATION TAKERS THAT DO NOT PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE OF TAXAS AND ARE LITTERALLY KILLING THE USA AS PLANNED.

Get them out and send all of the foreign refugees back to where they came from. WHERE DID YOUR FAMILY IMIGRATE FROM? I GUESS YOUR FAMILY SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT BACK AS WELL.

Taxpayers do not need to pay one cent for these illegals and
foreign refugees – however, WE ARE PAYING FOR THEM, while Americans and our Veterans are getting screwed. THIS IS TRUE.

There is something terribly wrong here when Americans and our Veterans do not get the help they need, but these foreigners get every thing. AGAIN TRUE. PROGRESSIVE TAXATION, UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE AND ENDING THE WAR ON DRUGS AND STOPING CORPORATE WELFARE WILL GO ALONG WAY IN REPAIRING AMERICA. SO IT IS DOUBTFUL ANY OF THAT WILL WILLINGLY HAPPEN.

This all started because of an executive order by Obama that is giving amnesty to kids brought here by their parents. I understand it only applies to kids brought here before 2007, but that is not what these people are being told in Central America. Besides he set the precedent, and that is we will grant amnesty to kids.

So he created the problem, and you want us to give him kudos for addressing it, all the while he is pushing for more amnesty…
