Walk like a duck, quack like a duck, you are probably a duck. Walk like a hoodlum, talk like a hoodlum, you may be a hoodlum. Stealing cigars or selling illegal cigarettes might prompt law enforcement to want to talk to you. Resisting or making aggressive movements may get you hurt.

Human rights abuses? Not to belittle a single death, but comparing the US to other country’s abuses is downright asinine.

Sure this is a peaceful march for the death of Eric Garner, and from some of the photos of signs shown says bait the Police with “Don’t shoot me”, also noted is the high price Threads the leaders are wearing. This just as much a funding event as a march. Still have not seen many marches to end Drive-By shootings, seem Black on Black, crime is acceptable, No Outrage there. No problem with rap music blasting saying the N,F, MF, Bitc, etc.-words, because that shows self-respect right. Yes other play that type of music, but 95% are played by…

Any death at the hands of the police, is horrible..Most of the time necessary. once in a long while, like with any other enforcement service, something wrong happens. Those incidents are investigated and like in the case of OJ and others, if any doubts are there, released thru the system. Why the protests? none given, when blacks kill blacks?

Naksuthin, we’re talking about an accidental death here, not like the Chinese intentionally running over pro-democracy protestors or the Russians poisoning someone they don’t like. Get a grip.

Holder & Obama are stoking race tensions now, an extension of the Treyvon Martin & Boston Police gambit now in Ferguson, KY. Why? Because they are losing the black vote big-time. Intelligent blacks are finally waking up to realize they’ve been played all along and just might not vote as instructed anymore. This is alarming to the plantation-keepers, Holder & Obama.

There are plenty of protests against “Black on Black” crime.
Regardless of the victim was black if you have ever had the pleasure of interaction with the police over a violation (Child support in my case..A CIVIL infraction) you know they overuse force, The cuffs put on me for failure to pay a BILL for a few months were overly tight, I was and am not a criminal, even if I were to cuff a person to where their hands turn blue is wrong and illegal use of force.
Yes it is human rights abuse.

Al Sharpton provides a titular head for protesters to rally around and know he will be their voice.
Even if you do not approve of his politics you have to see the logic in having him on the scene in a case like this, Have you not seen rioting and criminal behaviour drop when he does get to a potential race riot situation? I have and the proof is right here online if any would care to actually test their supposition instead of going off half cocked.

Love him or hate him he does bring order.

Just read about nine-year-old Antonio Smith gunned down in a notorious area that has a dividing line for rival gangs. They suspect he was caught in a cross fire between them, no march for him?
Black on black violence is much more systemic yet here we have the so called civil rights leaders marching in another political event…cause that is what this is.

You’re actually not supposed to pick a fight with police, any more than you’re supposed to pick a fight with a bus driver or a gas station clerk. This continued “outrage” at people coming out on the llosing end of such a struggle is, frankly, rather stupid. Oh, and another thing: 6 children? Really? What is up with that?

These “protesters” have selective outrage.
Do they protest the 15 black on black shootings last weekend?
Their “outrage” rings shallow.

We’ve spent hundreds of years and trillions of dollars trying to eradicate the underlying cause of these stereotypes, i.e., the fact that they have some truth to them. The only possibility is that, by the time your boys grow up, the country will have gotten too stupid to notice.

It’s funny how you judge the situation but when it happens to you there’s a difference in the situation. White-on-white crime 83%. Not to mention all mass murderers causing civilian deaths. Get some sense people. You’re so quick to criticize. There are cases around the country in just a month of excessive force being used. This has been happening in the African American community for generations. So yes, we are not going to be quiet about it. Stop the ignorance and hate! And you throw so many stones it’s unbelievable. You hire illegal immigrants to this country to work for you.underpaid. Hiring them to work in your homes and businesses. From housekeeping, nannies, construction, gardening you name it. You think nobody knows. It’s funny how you choose to focus your eyes on.

It appears that the Ferguson shooting is very different from what was first reported. Just like the Zimmerman-Martin case was wildly misrepresented by the media. Despite the wish fulfillment by Leftist media, those didn’t turn out to be part of any pattern of “white oppression.” This case might be different and have actual substance. How about taking each case on its own merits instead of trying to turn every incident into some sort of social commentary confirmation bias of your own view of America?

If you saw the entire video, not the short CCN video, you will see this guy was resisting arrest and caused the problem. All he had to do was cooperate with the police and there would have been no problem. The guy was huge. He was killed by the rule of unintended consequences. Every time you do something, something else happens.
