It’s time to invent a new, more realistic word to replace “deadline”.

How about “liveline”, denoting never-ending talks whish, as Shakespeare put it, “signify nothing”?

It’s worth noting that in a July speech, Khamenei reiterated Iran’s refusal to give up its centrifuge capability and Rouhani has stated that Iran would not give up its missile technology. So what good is “transparency” when you maintain the ability to build and shoot nuclear weapons? It’s also worth noting that even though Rouhani proclaimed Iran’s willingness to release information to inspectors, it has so far refused inspectors requests for data and access during the negotiation process on the current state of its nuclear program. It’s like Obama talking about transparency during the campaign and then having the NSA spy on everyone. Iran always has and always will want nuclear weapons and no amount of talk is going to change its mind.
