Democrats see this very differently… we ask the question: Why did we have an election? And the answer is; so that the American electorate could decide in the direction they wanted to go.

They decided, and it wasn’t the Tea Party’s direction, it was the President’s and Democrats. So, yes, compromise is NOW on the menu, if it isn’t, well, lets see how the republican party and the tea party fair in the midterms.

Richard Cowan has demonstrated a complete ignorance of the Tea Party movement in this report. Todd Akin, Murdock.. These people were NOT the Tea Party pick. The Tea Party has no social agenda. It is firmly based in fiscal responsibility and has no positions on social issues. If a candidate agrees with the fiscal ideas, but strays into evangelical Christian Republican ideology when it comes to social issues, PUT THE BLAME WHERE IT LIES, with the evangelicals. Stop the shoddy reporting!
