Baloney — it’s much worse than this. New accounting rules and requirements from Moody’s will soon be in place forcing the state to abandon these phony numbers and use a realistic return assumption. The teachers’ pension has only 18% of what it needs, not 39%, and the total unfunded liability for the state’ five funds is $150 to $200 billion. We are following the real numbers at WirePoints.com.
