The Federal Government got a case against Wells Fargo and their abuse of the Washington Mutual Bank pooled government loans, and it in fact is any government loan that was pooled in the Ginnie Mae system, because the loans are relinquish to Ginnie Mae without being purchase.
As with this latest settlement it a fact that there was a problem with foreclosures and servicers/banks were without a financial interest, did foreclose and submitted and received False Claims as owner of the loans when this is not the case.
