COLUMN-Ice-free Arctic Ocean in 2030?: Wynn

You correctly cite that black carbon contribution has been underestimated but not that its warming contribution is 3 times greater than first thought. Add to that the fact that NASA ice expert Drew Shindell and 39 other ice experts have proposed to the UN climate committee that Arctic and Gleenland ice melt could be halted in 5 years if we control black carbon emissions. The big obstacle to doing this is NGOs and environmental groups who will only support CO2 reduction which will do nothing to prevent continued ice loss. Why is no one taking these radical environmentalists to task?
