Obama says will keep pushing for climate bill

Any headline that says, “Obama will continue pursuing {insert policy}” is anything but surprising. After all, he is a pure ideologue, and one who knows better than everyone else. Why would he change course on anything at all?

Sad how dumb the US Electorate has become… kudos to the GOP & the Media, for their continued dumbing down of The People. They treat people like brain-dead automatons, and the People just follow blindly. Can’t wait to see how they’ll love it, when they put the GOP back into power, to pick up where Bush left off.
That said, Obama has himself to blame, for always watering down his initiatives, rather than actually showing leadership, and making the sale. All very sad.

If Obama was interested in climate bill why didn’t the biodiesel tax credit get passed after expiring over 6 months ago?

“If we’ve learned anything from the tragedy in the Gulf, it’s that our current energy policy is unsustainable.”

What a ridiculously ignorant statement. How on earth can the sustainability of our energy policies be determined by a single offshore accident?

Even so, when are we going to stop living the fantasy world of windmills and solar power? Instead, we should provide incintives for bringing nuclear facilities online, which, to the best of our current ability, are the only source that can hope to compete with and replace fossil fuels.

Truth be told, Obama and friends just want to play power-brokers. The rich and well-connected will profit handsomely from the trading of phony carbon credits, while we pay the increased costs of energy production.

Meanwhile, no actual reduction of emissions will take place for the next two decades. The federal government will create a huge slush fund from a market based on an environmental sham.

Some are still hoping to see the change Obama promised. But, by now, most have realized they were duped. Nothing has changed in Washington, and have actually gotten worse.

Obama’s move toward Big Government has attracted more lobbyists with more money than any time in history.

Lobbyists influence politicians to pass “green” laws that benefit their new “green” businesses, who in turn kick back profits in the form of “contributions” to reward the politician for working with their lobbyists.

But the American people are, for the most part, quite ignorant, gulible, and easily distracted. We already have who knows how many agencies to watch over the quality of our air, sea, and land.

But apparently that isn’t good enough. To really, really protect everyone, Obama stresses the urgent need for his massive carbon tax scheme.

In classic Obama-speak, he will no doubt tell us that “the time to act is now. If we fail to pass my energy bill, and simply accept the status quo, our planet will tear away from its orbit and smash into the sun.”

Don’t fall for it.
