I wish that the FRB had listened to FRB member Mr. Kocherlakota back in Jan 2014 when he advocated in his town hall meeting at his Bank of Minneapolis that the FRB increase QE3 rather than decreases it.
I also wish that his ideas for Infrastructure spending through a newly created Federal Infrastructure Bank funded by QE4 at $30 Billion per month, as created by a Congressional Bill, so as not to increase the U.S. Federal deficit, allowing completion of the badly needed expansion of the Port of New Orleans as desired by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jendal, also of India heritage, so as to accommodate the larger ships coming through the Panama Canal next year, and also completion of many other urgently needed Infrastructure Projects throughout America. This concept is akin to that utilized by President Eisenhower who funded construction of our vital Interstate Highway System, such as Freeways 5, 10, etc in California etc..
