Awww the fear mongers, doom sayers and Obama haters are ensconced on Reuters. I keep forgetting to see if there is already someone making a killing on tin foil hats…

A GOOD religion teaches tolerance and love for your fellow man, not fear. You have lives to live; ignore the news and just love life if you can’t handle it.

Perhaps if the ignorant religious right hadn’t voted in the BUSH dope who feigned a religious bent while sending as many as he could to the gallows and then as President to war, you would not have so much to fear?

Yep, just paranoia. The dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency is the only thing keeping our debt from collapsing on us… But come on guys, quit fear mongering.

Basket of currencies as reserve currency sounds like chaos on the way!

it’s all part of the plan to socialize the US ans pave the way for the new world order. If you calmly assess what has been happening you will see the pattern. Socalized medicine, not to mention running up the national debt ( thirteen trillion and rising) to destabilize the dollar. Then add in government takeover of banking and the auto industry, you may want to cherish for as long as possible what’s left of freedom because it’s fading fast.

Just a matter of time before the rest of world rids itself from the US Dollar as the reserve currency . . . And WHY NOT since the Federal Reserve Bank along with the US government has completely shredded their integrity in maintaining a sound currency.

World currency is a requirement for humanity to move forward & for the advancement of modern civilization.
The sooner a single world reserve currency is adopted the better for all people of the world – including the U.S.
Paranoid resistance to improvements to our progressive society is the biggest sociological challenge for the developed world.
Please, stop with the delusional “mark of the beast” nonsense & think for yourself! A more peaceful & prosperous world is knocking at the door for you & your children… are you brave enough to answer?

Fortunately, the Obama apologists happily choose the blue pill. They will get exactly what they deserve. The rest of us know what it means to our daily lives when the dollar ceases to be the reserve currency. The leftist kool-aid drinkers continue to see nothing happiness and sunshine through their partisan colored glasses but those in the know are stockpiling commodities and dumping dollars.

The Federal Reserve Corporation (incorporated in Delaware) is a credit cartel controlled by a few powerful families around the world. They also pull the strings of the UN and IMF. The value of the dollar is manipulated for their own benefit. This is why the US govt. cannot create their own currency. Kennedy was the last president that tried with silver certificates. Anyway, the reserve currency has been and always will be gold and silver. My money is in gold and silver so save fiat money at your own risk.

Ok, it really doesn’t matter that much if the USD is not used as the major reserve currency. It will always be used as a reserve currency, and maybe other currencies will gain in importance. This would actually get us off of the reliance on borrowing from others to pay for our spending binges. It might be a good thing. Plus the US can then have more control over its USD for economic reasons. However, there really isn’t an alternative to the USD at the moment. The Euro? That is laughable. I would buy Euros for even traveling to Europe. The RMB? Also laughable. The Japan Yen, maybe? I wouldn’t bet on it. The Japanese don’t want that, because they rely on exports. I’m at a loss for what currency can replace the Dollar unless the IMF starts printing their own money. Who would want that? After all, isn’t most of the IMF funding coming from the US? Maybe the US should reevaluate the IMFs importance and stop funding it.

Just make the exchange rate zero and end the speculation and trading of money. One World currency. Followed by a One World police force, and, eventually, a One World government. Maybe elect Kim Jong Il as President.

That is surely what the UN wants–anything to pry control from the USA.
