This point needs to be repeated a lot, since there is still a lot of confusion about it. Too many newspaper articles (and website articles) keep mentioning Fukushima and Chernobyl in the same breath.
But bad as it is, Fukushima is nowhere near as bad as Chernobyl, nor is it likely to get that bad.
Why, as it is, it is about on the same level as Three Mile Island, maybe a little worse, but not much, despite what the French say.
