How many terrorists released from Guantanamo and returned to Afghanistan would it take to gladden the hearts and minds of the family members of these children?

Indiscriminate air and drone strikes against civillians and or terrorists. And Americans wonder why people want to fly planes into building there.

The more civillians you kill over there, the more new ‘terrorists’ you mint. If these were your neighbors, kids, or who ever, would you just accept it? So why should they?

@ Kevin,
Indiscriminate? Ok. You know nothing and it’s glaringly obvious that your ignorance on this war and world events trumped any preconceived notion you had of making a point. My neighbors wouldn’t recruit my child to kill himself and others.
“And Americans wonder why people want to fly planes into building there.”
Most ignorant and asinine comment ever.

@911014ever and 32piece: any excuse to continue the most horrific lie of the western ‘WAR heroes’.

The direct and indirect civilian deaths attributed to the US led invasion of Aghanistan is between 9’500 to 29’000. If you had even half a working brain you’d stop sputtering your crap and realise your government is run by murderers.

And what is glaringly obvious to all, except Americans (obviously), the 3’000 lives lost at 9/11 were not and are not worth the 30’000 dead Afghani civilians. You’d have to have an extremely thick skull to even contemplate defending the US or their NATO lackeys with numbers this extreme.

Whether you glorify it as ‘casualties of war’ or ‘collateral damage’, it’s murder perpetrated by killers. Whether they’re wearing a badge and sing a national anthem or not.

Alpha? Pretty sure my comment was directed at the fellow who said “And Americans wonder why people want to fly planes into building there.” and how disgusted I was. Was it not?
Yes, I’m fully aware of the problems the US has. Maybe that will be a topic on another thread, however, not this one.
Thanks for your input though.

@ Life1 – your demeaning attitude and comparison of human lives lost during this conflict are depressing.

Oh good grief. Will you idiots please stop before you are dragged kicking and screaming from Afghanistan! Afghanistan is a tribal country and considers blood feud a right of passage. Get out before you end up like Rudyard Kipling. Good grief. Idiots never learn. Evidently the NATO forces or the generals never read Sun Tzu:

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle”

Get the hell out of there you have lost the hearts and minds long ago. No amount of apology will do you any good now. There have been way to many ‘mistakes’.

Suggest you read the entire book of Sun Tzu ART OF WAR before you are allowed on a battlefield again.
