All predicable. RIM resorts to BB7, not BB10. At least RIM does not have to face the potential embarrassments of delays, defects, and product recalls in BB10. RIM must also squeeze for revenue from the BB users who are dwindling rapidly anyway, to make up for the shortfall from carriers demanding lower monthly payment to RIM. There are two fronts for RIM to defend, the rapidly dwindling United States government and public sector business, and the rapidly encroaching from Nokia low end phones and Samsung sub-$100 QWERTY phones running the free WhatsApp and 2go messaging apps instead of the BBM. The business prospects for RIM have never been dimmer ahead.
