NEW YORK, May 1 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on
Friday:
AON CORP
The insurance broker reported adjusted first-quarter
results that missed expectations. [nN30520661]
Shares of Aon fell 13 percent to $36.85.
MASTERCARD INC
The credit card company reported first-quarter earnings
that beat expectations but said its 2009 revenue would miss

Shares fell 7.6 percent to $169.49.
CHEVRON CORP
The oil company, a Dow component, reported first-quarter
earnings that met expectations but were down from the prior

The stock rose 0.6 percent to $66.51.
FORD MOTOR CO
Shares of the automaker fell 3.3 percent to $5.78 after it
reported a drop of 31.6 percent in its April sales.

JAMES RIVER COAL CO
The stock soared 27 percent to $18.13 after it reported

GFI GROUP
Shares of the inter-dealer broker rose 29 percent to $5.26
after it said it expects to return to revenue growth in the
fourth quarter.
VOLCOM INC
Shares of the apparel maker rose 9.9 percent to $14.82
after it reported first-quarter results that beat expectations.

PACIFIC STATE BANCORP
Shares of the bank rose 7.4 percent to $1.45 after it

AMERIGROUP CORP
Shares of the health insurer slid 4.6 percent to $28.50
after it warned of a difficult premium environment going

NETSCOUT SYSTEMS INC
Shares gained 20 percent to $10.80 after it gave a

AMAG PHARMACEUTICALS INC
The stock surged 12 percent to $50.05 a day after it said
it had adequately addressed all issues raised by U.S. health
regulators on its anemia drug, clearing the way for a potential

WASHINGTON POST CO
Shares of the newspaper company fell 13 percent to $363
after it swung to a first-quarter loss, hurt by restructuring

HARTFORD FINANCIAL GROUP
METLIFE INC
The two companies late Thursday reported quarterly results
that were worse than expected, hurt by weak macroeconomic

Hartford shares dropped 7.8 percent to $10.58 while MetLife
shed 8.3 percent to $27.29.
CLOROX CO
Shares of the company rose 0.8 percent to $56.50 after it
reported a sharp increase in its third-quarter profit but
forecast weaker sales growth because of a stronger dollar.

AMERICAN AXLE & MANUFACTURING HOLDINGS INC
Shares of the auto parts supplier rose 9 percent to $1.09

CONTINENTAL AIRLINES
The airline said it made temporary cuts to its seat
capacity to Mexico because of lower demand as a new strain of

Shares rose 4.7 percent to $11.01.
CORUS BANKSHARES
The bank on Friday said that actions taken by regulators
may negatively impact its ability to continue as a going
concern.
It also hired an investment bank to seek all strategic
alternatives, including a capital investment, sale, strategic

Shares of Corus rose 43 percent to 30 cents.
DEAN FOODS CO
The dairy company reported a rise in its first-quarter
profit on lower milk costs and interest expense but forecast

FORTUNE BRANDS INC
The company reported first-quarter results that met

PNM RESOURCES INC
Shares of the company rose 8.9 percent to $9.28 after it
reported its first-quarter results and affirmed its 2009

TECO ENERGY INC
The company reported first-quarter earnings that beat

Shares rose 3.7 percent to $10.98.
LIFEPOINT HOSPITALS INC
The company reported first-quarter earnings and revenue

Shares rose 2.2 percent to $26.40.
PHH CORP
The company reported its first-quarter results, which

Shares rose 1.4 percent to $17.02.
BANK OF AMERICA CORP
The bank's board is not planning to remove CEO Kenneth
Lewis after he was ousted as chairman under shareholder
pressure, according to a report on the Wall Street Journal's

Shares of the bank, a Dow component, fell 1.3 percent to
$8.80.
NICOR INC
The gas company reported first-quarter earnings that beat
expectations and gave a 2009 earnings outlook that was above

BIG 5 SPORTING GOODS CORP
The sporting goods retailer posted better-than-expected
quarterly profits and forecast second-quarter earnings above

Shares rose 28 percent to $10.53.
AMAG PHARMACEUTICALS INC
The company was informed by the U.S. health regulator that
deficiencies noted at a facility manufacturing its experimental

CHIQUITA BRANDS INTERNATIONAL INC
The banana distributor reported a first-quarter profit well

Shares gained 23 percent to $9.31.
ARIBA INC
The procurement software company reported adjusted
quarterly earnings that beat estimates by a penny and forecast
