ATHENS, June 23 (Reuters) - The results of stress tests on Greek banks under IMF assumptions showed their fundamentals remain healthy and the country's lenders are able to weather shocks, the Bank of Greece said in a financial stability report on Tuesday.

"In aggregate, the Greek banking system's fundamentals remain healthy and continue to offer satisfactory margins to cover risks and ensure financial stability," the central bank said.

The Bank of Greece also said in the report that "despite certain positive indications, uncertainty on the outlook of the global and European economy remains high." (Reporting by George Georgiopoulos)
