ATHENS, June 24 (Reuters) - Greek metals group Mytilineos Holdings (MYTr.AT), a major Balkan producer of aluminium, plans to submit a bid for state-controlled nickel producer Larco, its chief executive said on Wednesday.

"We are assembling a very strong team of advisers to help us submit a bid for Larco," CEO Evangelos Mytilineos said during a presentation to analysts in Athens.

Larco, one of the world's top producers of steel alloy ferronickel, is owned by the Greek government, National Bank (NBGr.AT) and Public Power Corp (DEHr.AT).
