Shares in social care and health services provider Care UK (CUK.L) rise 4 percent driven by an update on the progress of its Independent Sector Treatment Sectors (ISTC).

"We are hugely encouraged by the progress reported this morning," say analysts at Brewin Dolphin in a note to clients.

The broker highlights the Department of Health confirming asset buyback arrangements and a leasehold model in the event that the contracts continue.

It said that renewal of contracts is effectively going through various legal procedures to ensure the commercial process is fully adhered to, implying termination is not on the agenda.
