Shares in Telford Homes Plc (TELF.L) jump 24 percent after the residential property developer reports full-year pretax profit of 4.3 million pounds, despite a challenging housing market, and says sales are picking up.

Shore Capital analyst Jon Bell says the stock offers a compelling investment opportunity, noting that the home builder's shares are trading at a 62 percent discount to its reported net asset value of 130 pence per share.

"This belies the qualities of a company which is well-financed, focused and well-positioned to enjoy the ultimate recovery of the housing market," he writes in a research note.

"We believe the shares offer outstanding value at these levels and should prove attractive to those seeking material capital upside."
