Thai Hot Stocks-Index off 2-week high, Siam Gas, Rojana up

 BANGKOK, June 30 (Reuters) - Thailand's benchmark stock
index .SETI was down 0.56 percent at 598.26, losing an
earlier 1.55 percent gain, at 0856 GMT on Tuesday, after data
showing exports fell a record 26.5 percent in May from a year

 Stocks on the move included:
 SIAM GAS SGP.BK NEARS ONE-YEAR HIGH ON A TAKEOVER TALK
 Shares in Siam Gas and Petroleum SGP.BK, Thailand's
number two liquefied petroleum gas firm, rose nearly 10 percent
to 7.35 baht, having hit 7.55 baht, its highest since July
2008, after a newspaper reported it planned to acquire an LPG
business in Vietnam.

 ROJANA INDUSTRIAL PARK ROJNA.BK AT TWO-WEEK HIGH
 The country's second-largest industrial estate developer
rose 5.26 percent to a two-week high of 6.00 baht due to
optimism that its key electronics business would help cushion
it from falling land sales.
 Kiatnakin Securities said in a note it recommended
investors buy the stock, saying the company had an attractive
dividend yield.

 ACL ACL.BK, BANGKOK BANK BBL.BK UP ON STAKE SALE
 Bangkok Bank, Thailand's largest lender, rose 1.4 percent
to 108.50 baht, while small lender ACL extended yesterday's 11
percent gain, rising 2.56 percent to its highest since October
2007.
 The shares rose after reports Bangkok Bank had agreed to
sell a 19 percent stake in ACL Bank to the Industrial and
Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) (1398.HK) (601398.SS).

 ENERGY FIRMS UP ON HIGHER OIL PRICES
 Energy stocks .SETEN rose 1.5 percent after oil prices
jumped more than 2 percent to an eight-month high above $73 a
barrel.
 Top oil and gas firm PTT PCL PTT.BK climbed 1.7 percent
to 241 baht, PTT Exploration and Production PTTE.BK rose 2.3
percent, top oil refiner Thai Oil TOP.BK edged 2.8 percent
higher to 43.25 baht, and top coal miner Banpu BANP.BK rose
0.88 percent.

 TELECOM FIRMS .SETIC DOWN ON LIKELY 3G DELAY
 Shares in top mobile phone firm Advanced Info Service
ADVA.BK dropped 0.3 percent, number two Total Access
Telecommunication DTAC.BK fell 2.22 percent and third-ranked
True Corp TRUE.BK eased 0.8 percent.
 Thailand's telecommunications regulator said the auction of
long-awaited third-generation (3G) mobile service licences
might not be held until January 2010, a little later than
