Indian shares extend losses to 2 pct

MUMBAI, June 30 (Reuters) - Indian shares extended losses to 2 percent on Tuesday afternoon, as nervous investors booked profits on uncertainties about next week's federal budget.

Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) dropped 2.8 percent and ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO) fell 4 percent.

At 2:51 p.m. (0921 GMT), the 30-share BSE Index .BSESN was down 1.91 percent at 14,503.28 points with 26 components losing.

The 50-share NSE index was down 2.2 percent at 4,293.40 points. (Reporting by Ami Shah)
