WUNDERLICH SECURITIES
The brokerage firm said it opened a branch office in Michigan in the town of Livonia, marking its second location in that state. The Livonia branch will include financial advisers William Connell, branch manager, and Mark Robinson. Other members of the group include Dennis Brose and Kathleen Miller, Wunderlich said.
NEW ENGLAND CONSULTING GROUP
The New England Consulting Group said it added three new managing partners to its private equity growth practice. The new additions include Ed Rhoads, John Richards, and Abe Medawar.
MORGAN STANLEY (MS.N)
Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management said it hired a team of six investment professionals to serve ultra high net worth families in Latin America, with a focus on Venezuela, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Mexico. The team includes three private wealth advisors: Executive Director Maria Lipton, Executive Director Juan Larrain and Executive Director Pablo Granja. They will be joined by Vice President Lisa Markowitz, Vice President Helena Astor, and Tatiana Dominguez. They joined from UBS.
ICAP PLC (IAP.L)
Interdealer broker ICAP said Gil Mandelzis, CEO of Traiana, has been appointed to ICAP's Global Executive Management Group. He will continue to report to ICAP Group Chief Operating Officer Mark Yallop. ICAP acquired Traiana, which helps automate post trade processing of financial transactions, in 2007.
BANK OF AMERICA CORP (BAC.N)
Bank of America Merrill Lynch said Randall Lynch has joined the firm as managing director within Americas industrials investment banking. Lynch is based in New York and reports to John Pratt, managing director and head of Global Diversified Industries corporate and investment banking. Lynch previously worked at American International Group (AIG.N).
RBC CAPITAL MARKETS
RBC Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO) (RY.N), said it appointed Mike Bassas as managing director and head of Fixed Income & Currencies, Asia (non-Japan). It also appointed Mark Otis Zownir as a managing director and head of USD Rates Trading, Asia. Both Bass and Zownir will be based in Hong Kong. Bass joined RBC Capital Markets from Standard Chartered Bank and Zownir was most recently head of Yen Rates Trading at Citigroup in Tokyo.
WESLEYAN ASSURANCE SOCIETY
Wesleyan Assurance Society, the financial services specialist, said it appointed Keith Nicholson FCA to their non-executive board of directors. Nicholson recently retired from his role as Partner at KPMG LLP. (Compiled by Shobhana Chadha in Bangalore and Jessica Hall in Philadelphia)
