UPDATE 1-NMT Medical cuts '08 revenue outlook

Oct 2 (Reuters) - Medical technology company NMT Medical Inc (NMTI.O) cut its fiscal 2008 revenue outlook for the second time and also lowered its third-quarter revenue view.

For the year 2008, the company sees revenue of $18 million to $19 million, down from its prior revenue view of $19 to $20 million.

NMT cut its third quarter revenue outlook to about $4.1 million, from a range of $4.8 million to $5.2 million.

Analysts on average expect revenue of $4.6 million for the third quarter and $19.7 million for 2008, according to Reuters Estimates.
