UPDATE 1-New Oriental Education posts higher Q3 results

April 21 (Reuters) - China's New Oriental Education and Technology Group Inc (EDU.N) posted a 36 percent rise in quarterly revenue, helped by strong student enrollments in language training and test preparation courses.
The company also forecast fourth-quarter revenue ranging from $50.5 million to $53.5 million.
For the third quarter ending February 28, 2009, the Beijing-based company posted revenue of $65.4 million. Net income fell 10 percent to $10.4 million.
Total student enrollments in language training and test preparation courses rose 31 percent to about 351,700.
Shares of the company closed at $51.25 Monday on the New York Stock Exchange.
