 June 16 (Reuters) - The following financial services
industry appointments were announced on Tuesday. To inform us

 Citigroup Inc (C.N)
 Citigroup named Tom Mazzucco a managing director and global
head of Internet banking, according to a memo. Mazzucco joins
from UBS AG (UBSN.VX) where he was a managing director and head
of the global Internet practice and he will be based in Palo
Alto, California
 SUNTRUST BANKS INC (STI.N)
 SunTrust said it hired Bill Holt from Wells Fargo & Co
(WFC.N) as its new head of business banking. Holt will join
Atlanta-based SunTrust in mid-July, spokesman Hugh Suhr said.
He is a veteran of Wachovia Corp, where he had been head of
community banking.
 ECONOMIC BOUTIQUE
 U.S. economist Richard DeKaser has launched an economic
advisory boutique called Woodley Park Research. It specializes
in forecasts, analysis and housing market research. DeKaser has
advised three governors and one presidential candidate, and is
a director of the National Association for Business Economics,
according to a statement from Woodley Park.
 NES FINANCIAL
 The financial services provider said it appointed Stephen
Gray as chief financial officer. Prior to joining the firm, he
served at Seacastle Inc.
 BRIDGEPOINT
 The private equity firm named Stephen Green as partner and
head of its European financial services sector team, replacing
John Davison. Green will begin his new role on Sept. 1.
 BAHRAIN MUMTALAKAT HOLDING CO
 The investment company said it appointed John Knight as
Mumtalakat's chief operating officer and Serge Lepine as chief
investment officer. The company also named Damien Balmet as its
vice president, corporate development.
 HEARTWOOD
 The wealth manager said it appointed Bernard Charles as
head of human resources. Charles, who joins from Standard Bank,
will be part of Heartwood's executive committee.
 PROMONTORY FINANCIAL GROUP
 The financial services consulting firm said it appointed
former Italian Finance Minister Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa as
chairman of Promontory Europe. Padoa-Schioppa rejoins
Promontory after serving two years in the Italian government,
prior to which he was senior adviser to the company's Chief
Executive, Eugene Ludwig. He will be based in Milan.
