** Konsortium Abass, a unit of Malaysian water firm Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS) (KPSB.KL), received a $268 million offer from Selangor state for its water-related assets, KPS said. [ID:nKLR170967]
** Dutch engineering consultancy Arcadis (ARDS.AS) will buy U.S. rival Malcolm Pirnie for $222 million in cash and shares, boosting its position in the international water services market in a deal welcomed by investors. [ID:nLP248577]
** French utility EDF (EDF.PA) is planning to sell a stake in utility Estag, in the Austrian state of Styria, to Verbund (VERB.VI), Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard reported. [ID:nLP73910]
